Call of Duty is a most famous first-person shooter video game published by Activision. Call of Duty focused its first game set on “World War II” and the initial release was 2003. The first set of call of duty series has seen games set during the Cold War, futuristic worlds, and outer space. The series originally focused on the World War II setting. As of February 2016, the series has reached over 250 million fans and players. And the revenue of all Call of Duty games topped US$15 billion within the first 3 years.

Call of Duty – World at War is the fifth instalment of the main series developed by Treyarch. Black Ops story Released after Modern Warfare and it returns to the World War II setting featuring the Pacific theatre and Eastern front. The game uses the same proprietary game engine as Call of Duty 4 and was released for the PC, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360 consoles and the Nintendo DS handheld in North America on November 11, 2008, and November 14, 2008, in Europe. As of June 2009, Call of Duty: World at War has sold around 11 million copies. The story acts as a prologue for Treyarch’s next game, Black Ops, which is in the same universe, sharing characters and story references.

The Call of Duty Endowment (CODE) is a nonprofit organization founded by Activision Blizzard to help find employment for U.S. military veterans. $125,000 as of the first donation of Call of Duty Endowment, was presented to the Paralyzed Veterans of America. Call of Duty Endowment (CODE) was founded in 2009. The organization announced a commitment to creating thousands of career opportunities for veterans, including those returning from the Middle East and In November 2014, the CODE launched the 1,000 Jobs campaign to encourage gamers to donate money to and get involved in organizations that provide veterans with services.

Around $12 million in grants had been provided to veterans’ organizations in the United States by the Call of Duty Endowment As of 2015. It has helped to find jobs for 14,700 veterans in the US. As of March 2010, CODE presented 3,000 copies of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, approximately $180,000 in value, to the U.S. Navy. The copies were delivered to over 300 ships and submarines as well as Navy Morale, Welfare, and Recreation facilities worldwide.
