The 100

The Hundred (“The 100”) is an American drama television series that describe post-apocalyptic science fiction. The 100 published on March 19, 2014. The story behind the Set of ninety-seven years after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization, During this period, a spaceship housing humanity’s lone survivors send one hundred juvenile delinquents back to Earth, to re-populating the planet. The 100 series, developed by Jason Rothenberg as Executive Producer, and it is briefly based on the novel series of The 100 by Kass Morgan. Evan Frankfort & Liz Phair joined the project as theme music composers.

The 100 was initially broadcasted on The CW Television Network which is an American English-language free-air television network, operated by The CW Network, LLC limited. The CW liability joint venture between the World famous CBS Entertainment Group unit of ViacomCBS with the Studios and Networks division of AT&T’s WarnerMedia specialized for the Action TV series. On April 24, 2019, The CW released the series for a seventh season, which will include 16 episodes and premiered on May 20, 2020. It was officially announced that the seventh season will be the final season of The 100 TV Series and through that The 100 finishing the show with a total of 100 episodes across all seven seasons.

The Story

The 100 story is about 97 years after a devastating nuclear war exhausted most life on Earth. The only known survivors are the residents of all main space stations in Earth’s orbit before the war. The space stations banded together to establish one massive station named “The Ark”. Resources are scarce and every one crime regardless of their nature or severity is punishable by death (“floating”) unless the perpetrator is under 18 years old. After critically failing the Ark’s life support systems, 100 juvenile prisoners are nominated and sent to the surface during a last-ditch plan to determine if Earth is habitable again.

In the seventh season of The 100, It has finds the inhabitants of Sanctum trying to find a way to live together in peace following the aftermath of the situations of the previous season while battling the resurrected Dark Commander. At the end of the series, the Dark Commander is killed permanently by Indra and humanity achieves Transcendence aside from Clarke who committed murder during the test. Clarke finally returns to Earth where her surviving friends live and Octavia’s new boyfriend Levitt chooses to join her to start a peaceful new family life.
