Is influenza a virus?? Influenza is a viral infection that attacks to the human respiratory system. Specially to the nose, throat, and lungs. Generally, the Influenza is called as flu, but it is not the same as stomach “flu” viruses which can cause to diarrhea and vomiting.

There are few types of influenza viruses which are called as A, B, C and D. seasonal epidemics of disease can be cause for Human influenza A and B viruses which known as the flu season (almost every winter in the United States). Influenza A viruses is the only influenza viruses known to cause flu pandemics like global epidemics of flu disease.

Flu can identify as contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses that infect the nose, throat, and sometimes the lungs. Also, It can cause mild to severe illness, and at times it can lead to death. The best way to prevent flu is by getting a flu vaccine according to the medical officer’s advice.
Type B flu is found only in humans but type not A flu viruses. Type B flu may cause a less severe reaction than type A flu virus, but occasionally, type B flu also can still be extremely harmful.
